Our Vermont trip started with a 4-hour layover at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. it was quite a long time in transit especially with 2 active and chatty lil’ ones.

The girls and their dad upon arrival all cheery and looking forward to the trip

We proceeded to the cafeteria for lunch. had some pulled BBQ meat at the sub store

Time to board the airplane and get to our gates

The plane arrived and off we were to Burlington, VT.

I’ve just discovered your adventures, and love the pictures. I also love the Van Eaton and Mangus Drudik wheels. How do I find more info on them? I’d love to get one. Thanks. Cindy

Your Vermont trip sounds wonderful, such gorgeous pictures. And congratulations to you.
How fortunate for you to meet with the Russos. While reading I knew their name was familiar but couldn’t quite place it except to reason perhaps from Convergence 2004. The pictures of the instruments brought it all into focus: I read about his mandolin making in an article I’d proofread for Mandolin Magazine a couple issues back. Their work is top-notch. Did you get one of his braiding stands?
